How it burns

One flame. One rule.
The last buy wins.

I

Every buy resets the clock.

Any buy of $WICK above the minimum puts the timer back to 5:00. You now hold the flame.

II

The last buyer takes half.

When the clock hits zero, whoever bought last receives 50% of the pot, straight to their wallet.

III

Every holder takes the rest.

The other 50% is split between all $WICK holders, by the size of their bag. Nobody needs to win for you to earn.

IV

A new flame is lit.

The next round starts with the next buy. No round lasts more than 30 minutes, so the pot always pays out.

The candle is the round: thirty minutes at most.
The flame is the clock: five minutes, reset by every buyer.
When either runs out, the pot pays.

Questions.

What counts as a buy?

Any buy of $WICK above the minimum (around $10 in ETH), wherever it's made: on this site, on pons, or any app trading the token. Every qualifying buy resets the clock to 5:00 and makes the buyer the new holder of the flame.

What happens when the clock hits zero?

The flame goes out. The last buyer receives half of the pot, and the other half is shared between all holders by the size of their bag. The pot is paid by contract.

Why can't a round last forever?

Every round has a 30 minute cap. If buyers keep resetting the clock until the cap, the flame goes out at 30:00 and whoever bought last takes the win.

Do sells reset the clock?

No. Only buys above the minimum move the clock. Selling never takes the flame away from anyone.

How do holders get paid?

When a flame goes out, every holder's share is recorded on-chain. It adds up round after round on this page under "Your share", and you claim it whenever you want in one transaction.

Where does the pot come from?

From $WICK's own trading fees. 40% of all creator fees fund the pot, 20% for the winner and 20% for holders. The pot grows with every trade, buys and sells.
